Conceptual Design
Conceptual design is an early phase of the design process, in which the broad outlines of function and form of something are articulated. It includes the design of interactions, experiences, processes, and strategies.
It is the initiation level of the design process. Conceptualization is to recognize viable solutions by considering alternatives and it requires creativity.
Front End Engineering Design
FEED (Front End Engineering Design) means Basic Engineering which is conducted after completion of Conceptual Design or Feasibility Study. At this stage, before start of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), various studies take place to figure out technical issues and estimate rough investment cost.
Detailed Engineering Design
Detailed engineering are studies which creates a full definition of every aspect of a project development. It includes all the studies to be performed before project construction starts. Detail engineering studies are a key component for every project development across mining, infrastructure, energy, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and oil and gas sectors.
Drafting and As-Built Drawings
An as-built drawing is a revised drawing created and submitted by a contractor after a construction project is finished. They contain any changes made from the initial drawings during the construction process, and provide an exact rendering of the building and property as it appears upon completion.
As-built renderings should detail the shape, dimensions, and precise locations of any and all elements within the scope of the project. Any modifications, whether minor or major, should be included, along with a record of approvals to go along with the changes.
3D Modeling
In 3D computer graphics, 3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any surface of an object in three dimensions via specialized software.
3D models are used for a variety of mediums including video games, movies, architecture, illustration, engineering, and commercial advertising.
The 3D modeling process produces a digital object capable of being fully animated, making it an essential process for character animation and special effects. The core of a model is the mesh which is best described as a collection of points in space.
Laser Scanning & Dimensional Control
Integrating traditional methodology with new scanning technologies to achieve higher order accuracies for critical interfaces and tie-in points.
For oil and gas companies operating in a volatile climate, careful planning and tight control over construction and maintenance programmes have never been so vital. The sheer immensity of most projects and the scale of investment involved places huge pressures on all parties from stakeholders and engineers to engineering procurement, construction & design (EPCD) contractors, with projects often scheduled for completion within extremely short timescales, working around the clock.
