Idaewor Obeha is a seasoned Piping Design Engineer and E3D Administrator with a strong track record in the oil and gas sector, covering both upstream and downstream operations across onshore and offshore projects. A graduate of Mechatronics Engineering, he brings advanced expertise in designing and 3D modeling intricate piping systems, supporting projects from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) through to detailed design and construction phases.

His technical proficiency includes the integration of laser scanning and point cloud data into intelligent 3D models for brownfield upgrades and facility revamps. Obeha leverages industry-standard tools such as AVEVA E3D and AutoCAD to deliver precise, efficient, and compliant engineering solutions.
Over the years, he has contributed to major projects for leading operators and EPC firms including Chevron, TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil, Nigeria LNG, Seplat Energy, Heritage Energy, and NPDC. His portfolio also includes work with tank farm operators like Rainoil Limited and Straightrun Limited, where he supported the design of storage, distribution, and utility systems.

Beyond engineering design, Obeha enhances project delivery through IT systems administration and engineering software management, streamlining workflows and boosting operational efficiency. Olalekan Kayode is a Registered Engineer with COREN and a Corporate Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers, a Member of the International Association of Engineers (MIAENG), and the America Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

With over 9 years’ experience under his belt, he combines the role of Technical Assistant to the Managing Director and PDMS/E3D Administration for the company.

Olalekan’s experience has been mainly in the oil & gas services sector, spanning upstream and downstream, onshore and offshore including FPSO. He has had a stint with organizations like Westfield Energy Resources, Petroprism etc on secondment from Cakasa Engineering Services Limited

He has led and supported teams of Engineers in the execution and delivery of flagship projects for some major oil and gas companies like CNL, NLNG, SEPLAT, FALCON. NNPC-NPDC, and Sahara Energy Ghana and Tema Oil Refinery as CESL Engineering Consultant to MEMOT Metal and Steel Construction in Ghana. He has also worked on a couple of engineering design projects for Tank Farm (Depot) facilities operators like A. A Rano, Optima, Northwest, and Rainoil.

He started his professional career in April 2013 as an intern with the Piping Department as a Piping Design Engineer in Cakasa (Nig) Company Limited (ETSD Division) which later became Cakasa Engineering Services Limited. He also had the opportunity to undertake his Youth Service in Cakasa (Nig) Company Limited (ETSD Division), before he was retained as a Piping Designer/PDMS Administrator in August 2016.

Olalekan Kayode holds a B. Eng. (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Technology Minna Niger state. He attended Federal Government College Ilorin and Federal Polytechnic Staff School Offa.
