Client: SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company Plc
Location: Egbaoma / Oben
Cakasa (CESL) carried out all engineering works (Conceptual Study, Front End Engineering Design and Detailed Engineering Design) within the given scope, to enable the construction of 12” diameter x 42km pipeline to handle gas from Umutu and Matsogo for evacuation to Oben Node for Sale.
Client: Mobil producing Nigeria unlimited
Location: Eket
Cakasa (CESL) performed Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for the Installation of 4” flow line from gas source well to gas lift manifold and Installation of a six-slot gas lift manifold (4” ANSI 900) with appropriate instrumentation (i.e. PSHH/PSLL) for Ubit GA
Client: Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited
Location: Port Harcourt
Cakasa (CESL) carried out Detailed Engineering Design (DED) on the modification of the existing Firewater Network System – Piping works.
The modification involved provision of 2 new Fire Water Pumps with capacity of 1200m3 /hr – 1 each @ ODP1 (Wellhead Platform) & ODD1 (Processing Platform), construction of a Platform extension (pancake module) – @ ODD1 and the extension of the existing Deluge System (to cover new equipment), upgrade of the Fire Water components (e.g. Hydrants), provision of 1 additional Jockey Pump with capacity of 30 m3/hr @ ODD1 and relocation of a Gas Manifold @ ODD1.
Structural Activities
E & I Activities
Client: Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited
Location: Port Harcourt
Cakasa performed Detailed Engineering Design (DED) to address the problem of rapid increase in the formation of water production arising from the ageing of the facility.
The two phases of the project included design of water treatment facilities with temporary option of disposal to sea and re-injection of Treated Produced Water or disposal to sea.
This study focused on design and implementation of Phase 1 while Phase 2 was put on hold pending results from the Produced Water Re-injection Test (planned for a later date) to monitor the behaviour of the reservoir to mixing of sea water and produced water.
Client: Chevron Nigeria Limited
Location: Offshore – Escravos, Nigeria
Cakasa performed Front End Engineering Design (FEED) on Abiteye Facility in support of the client’s plan to develop Escravos Gas Plant (EGP) that was experiencing gas supply shortfall and was forecasted to increase over time due to decline of existing gas supply fields.
Abiteye NAG Project is a key contributor to Chevron’s short term gas supply commitments to deliver additional volumes of gas to Escravos Lagos Pipeline System (ELPS) via the existing EGP by-pass contributing to fulfil domestic market gas demand.
The FEED was carried out to enable Chevron evaluate the economics of the planned development before proceeding with Detailed Engineering Design (DED).
Client: Chevron Nigeria Limited
Location: Offshore Nigeria.
Cakasa (CESL) provided the Conceptual Design report:
The report described the overall dimensions and weight of the CALM Buoy and size of the OOL transporting crude from FPSO to CALM Buoy, the overall dimensions and weight of the Suction Piles, Composition (chain, wire or polyester rope), size and approximate length of mooring lines, various sizing calculations and preliminary cost estimate.
Client: WABECO
Location: Calabar
Cakasa (CESL) carried out the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handing over of a fully functional petroleum storage depot in Calabar
